At the annual general meeting of ALPA, the past year's events were reviewed with satisfaction. 1800 people attended the mini-festival with its theme of the sea and guest of honour Isabelle Autissier. Other events had included a photo exhibition of flora and fauna of the region taken by members of the Saulgé photo club and two concerts one in Asnières sur Blour and the other in Luchapt.
This year there are plans for a series of events between the 22 and 31 July, having a common theme of India. for more information keep an eye on the events section of this site. as well as the web site of ALPA. (It is currently not reflecting the results of the AGM but no doubt this will change)
This site has been developed for the people who live inside the boundaries of Confolens, L'Isle Jourdain, Pleuville and Oradour Fanais.
Your contribution is essential to inform others about all things which affect daily life. So when you find out something add it to the site. In this way we will all benefit. It could be as trivial as a road closure or as important as a new factory everything is important to our daily lives in this corner of paradise.
