It was a little like an indoor market, but with the traders that you associate with the outdoor markets. The main difference being that there were far more traders than punters. The only people that you can see in the photo were the sstall holders.
We were there for about 45 mins, not buying but talking. There were three couples there including ourselves and we knew both the others so we talked. What else to do on a not very nice Sunday?
It was a bit of a shame as no doubt some effort had been put into the arrangements and as you can see from the photo somebody had provided the awnings and set up the hall. Lack of advertising was partly to blame. We saw only a few home made posters at the side of the road between Availles and Lessac, no other posters in the shops or in the local paper and certainly no notice on this site. The other contributing factor was the weather which encouraged people to stay in near the fire.
