Thursday marks an important departure for the monthly lunch group, Mange tout.  They are meeting at the lake at Etignac (also spelled Etagnac) at 12:30.

For those intending to go you need to take all your own food and drink, but no doubt you will wish and be able to share with others. You will be able to buy chips at the little cafe by the lake.

Afterwards you can relax by the lake and after a suitable time go swimming.

A small article about one of the people living inside our area who repairs and sells computers

Not so many years ago a comuter and a connection to the internet were regarded as exotic and for others.  Today they are common place with over 60% of the French population having not only a computer but access to the internet in some form or other. This gives rise to the associated problems of how does one get support and what happens when things do wrong.

In a recent article I said that there was strong hope that a grocery shop would open in Abzac this year.  This has been confirmed in the Mayor's wishes and he has also given a name of the new proprietaire and a date.

Mrs Parsons, who currently runs the bric-a-brac shop in Abzac will take over the premises and open both as a grocery and sell bread during March. She will also open a tea room to cater for both visitors to Abzac and the locals.
